Primary sources

Track data, release dates, artist names and genre labels come from the streaming platforms where the music is published — primarily Spotify — and from artists' own channels on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.

Context and reporting

Cultural and historical context is drawn from established music and sports journalism, academic writing on Brazilian funk and dembow, and public statements from the artists themselves. Where a source is essential to a claim, we link to it inside the article.

What we never claim

We do not claim to know any player's private listening habits. Songs described as "linked to" a player are connected through fan edits, public celebrations, viral videos or the artist's own stated inspiration — never through private information.
